The first stable semisynthetic organism has been created.

Can you spot the error in this story?
(hint: it's right at the beginning)


The first paragraph ignores the fact
that 5methylcytosine is part of the genetic code.
So now we're up to 5 bases.
They also ignored the fact
that RNA is also part of the genetic code.
RNA substitutes uracil in place of thymine.
So that is a 6th base that they ignored.
